Wow. I'm back in Landaaan!
This last week went by in a rush! And saying goodbye to so many people was hard. :-'
I've made some good friends in Kenya. And I will very much miss the buzz of living and working in Mombasa, in Kenya.
So I spent the week saying kwaheri (goodbye) to my work mates, to our gang of Coast volunteers, to staff at special places I liked hanging out at in my free time, and to VSOers in Nairobi.
It really has been a great year. A lot of very good people live in Kenya. You just have to seek them out.
When the plane flew over London though it felt good to be home. This is my town. Where I live.
Spotting the landmarks I was happy to see the Thames; London Eye; Tower Bridge; Charing Cross; Big Ben; Buck Pal. I was like an excited kid on a school trip seeing sights for the first time.
Yes. It's good to be home!
What next? We shall see.
So once again:
Goodbye Nyali.
Goodbye Nakumatt.
Goodbye Cinemax.
Goodbye Mombasa.
Goodbye Kenya!
(Goodbye Porpoise Spit!
)

I see you just returned home. I am leaving in a few weeks to start my adventure in Kenya with VSO. Could I have your e-mail address to ask you some questions? Cheers, Erin (erinbresnan@yahoo.com)
